1989 - Early 1990: Original Design - Converter anti-drainback vale located in cooler line.

Late 1990-1998: Converter anti-drainback valve in rear line tap @ case.

 


1991 Addition of an Intermediate Accumulator regulator filter.

(small screen with spring on it located in worm track near OD fluid feed bolt)

1989-1993 Input shaft 14" (Original design no groove mark on outer small spline end).
1993 - 1998 Input shaft 13.5" (2nd Design, Has 1/8" wide groove mark on outer small spline end).
1994 - 1998 Center Support hub was updated to use a roller bearing
1996 Center Shaft / OD Ring Gear (pilot removed from end of center shaft).

1996 - 1998 Forward Hub to Forward Drum updated to Bearing.

Lip Seal / Molded Seal:

 

1989-1998 Replaceable inner & outer lip seals. (1st Design)

1998 Seals molded to piston (2nd Design)

 

NOTE: Molded seal design requires piston / seal replacement.

NOTE: These two pistons to seal types are not interchangeable.

Direct Drum Updates:

 

1989-1994 Direct Drum with 1 apply hole to piston
1995-1998 Direct Drum with 2 apply hole to piston
NOTE: Direct Drums are fitted for either 3, 4 or 5 friction disc.

NOTE: Two hole apply piston and one hole are NOT interchangeable.

1989 - 1994 Retro fit Orifice Plug 0.040" (installed inner end of output shaft).

1995 Orifice was incorporated in to output shaft inner end
